Did You Miss Me? Because I Missed You

It's strange how time works. I can still remember the walks I took during lockdown and the exact podcasts I listened to back in 2020. That feels like yesterday. But do you know what feels like a lifetime ago? This podcast. I’ve been gone for seven months, but it feels like seven years. When I first took a break, I felt so much guilt. Now? None. Breaking up with you was exactly what I needed. I got to explore who I was without you, and now that I know who I am, I’m ready to be in a relationship with you again. Will you take me back? I can be the thoughtful, optimistic, organized woman we both know I can be.

October Surprise

We love an October Surprise! If you’ve never heard the term before, October surprises are those unexpected, often game-changing events that explode right before a major election, throwing everything into chaos. These moments have the power to shift the entire outcome and leave their mark on political history forever. This is when you call Olivia Pope. This is when you hand Huck his favorite power tool and let Quinn Perkins loose on the internet. This is when you make sure Fitz and Mellie are putting their differences aside because the state of the election is on the line.

Loneliness

If you asked me what I wanted most in this world at this very moment, besides immediately answering “two million dollars,” I would also say a solid friend group and a boyfriend. When my therapist asks if I feel alone, I don’t think there’s ever been an instance when I’ve answered “no.” From as far back as I can remember, the answer has always been “yes.” Yet, despite that, I’ve always managed to be fine.
